GF/CF Paleo PIZZA Crust

Paleo Pizza Crust

  • 5 tsp active dry yeast

  • ½ cup warm water, ½ cup of water with rest of ingredients

  • 5 tbs olive oil

  • 2 eggs (flax eggs are better, so 3 oz boiling water mixed with 2 tbs of ground flax, let thicken about 15 minutes)

  • 2 cups almond flour

  • 2 cups arrowroot flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  1. Mix yeast with warm water and 1 tsp honey – let bloom – 5-10 minutes.

  2. Mix other ingredients together, then add yeast mixture and mix it all together.

  3. Shape into pizza on a foiled and parchment papered baking dish and let rise 1-2 hours (or more)

Bake at 450 for 6 minutes, then flip crust, add desired sauce and ingredients and bake until done (5-10 minutes).

Pro Tip: If you do smaller pizzas, they are easier to flip!  This recipe makes about 8 small personal pan size pizzas.
