GF/CF Paleo Biscuits

Paleo Biscuits that are easy to make and taste great.

Biscuits

  • 3 cups almond flour

  • 2 ¼ cups arrowroot flour

  • 7 ½ tsps baking powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 cup melted palm shortening (or other melted fat, works fine with good quality olive oil too!)

  • ¾ cup water

  • 9 tbs boiling water (4.5 oz)

  • 3 tbs ground flax

Heat oven 450 degrees.  Mix boiling water and flax together, let sit to congeal (5-10 minutes).  Mix dry ingredients.  Melt butter.  Mix together wet and dry ingredients.  Drop dough by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet about 1 inch apart.  Bake until golden brown, 10-12 minutes.
